Arab Social Media Influencers Club organizes “Dardachat” at GITEX Technology Week

The Arab Social Media Influencers Club (ASMIC), part of the Dubai Press Club, organized a tech-talk session “Dardachat: Technology World“ presented by the tech-specialist at Independent Arabia, Abdullah AlSabe, who discussed content creation strategy on social media, and how to build the identity of digital products to ensure success on various social media platforms.

During the session, which was held on the sideline of the 39th edition of GITEX Technology Week which takes place at DWTC in Dubai from 6-10 October, AlSabe said that social media content should have a clear strategy and objective, adding every ‘like’ and ‘comment’ should be part of a plan that leads to specific objectives. He further said that this could be a little tricky, but having a clear plan for strategy that you want to implement for your product or firm, will make the implementation easy, as the content you will share with your followers is an opportunity to achieve your target, and will help gain the confidence of your audience.

He also shared his personal experience, during the session that attracted tech enthusiasts and wide public appearance, highlighting that he respects all followers and answers their questions, which he considers key for success. He said that he answers more than 500 email and questions a day, adding that followers are the real CEO for every company that seeks success.

He also said that social media platforms became the major market space in the world as it offers services with millions of potential clients that are not available in traditional markets, which led to the growth of online advertising. He also said that he personally encourages small companies to opt for online advertising given the benefits it offers.

AlSabe also said that online advertising is open for everyone regardless of the seize of the company, in term of cost or anything else, as it is easy to assess the success of the advertising, which is much better than the traditional channels that don’t offer the same outcome in term of assessing the results of the advertising.

Arab Social Media Influencers Club’s project manager, Marwa Nasser Alkouda said that ‘Dardachat’ is one of the key activities the Club hosts, where it attracts prominent Arab influencers in various domains including social media, technology among others. She also thanked GITEX organizers for this opportunity which is part of an agenda that includes 290 hours of discussions that covers new trends of technology and best ways of deploying it.
