About the program
Launched by the Dubai Press Club, the Arab Podcast Program is a unique initiative designed to foster the growth of audio content creation and enhance the capabilities of content creators across the Arab world. The comprehensive Program aims to deliver a specialised and customised training comprising a series of constructively-aligned theoretical and practical courses and activities that are developed in collaboration with prominent regional and global leaders in the podcasting industry.
The Program seeks to enable participants master the entire range of skills needed to conceive, create, launch and publicise podcasts, with particular emphasis on idea-generation, scriptwriting,, scriptwriting, podcast recording, editing and marketing. It also imparts essential skills in presentation and dialogue, enabling participants to create and deliver engaging audio content. In partnership with media organisations, podcasting platforms and media colleges, the Program gives participants the opportunity to put their newfound knowledge into practice and explore promising career opportunities in the industry.
Serving as a dynamic platform for nurturing young Arab talent in audio content production, this initiative further strengthens Dubai's status as a hub for the region’s podcasting industry. The Program empowers young content creators to unlock their creative potential and launch their own podcasts, contributing to the growth of a vibrant podcasting community with a rich diversity of voices, perspectives and stories.

Eligibility Criteria and Required Documents
1. Age: Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old.
2. Residency: Applicants must be residents of Dubai.
3. Educational Background: A university degree or an equivalent recognized certificate .
4. Language Skills: Good communication skills in both Arabic and English.
5. Technical Skills: Applicants should possess basic understanding of podcasting technology.
6. Commitment: Applicants must be committed to the training schedule, attendance and active participation.
