The Dubai Press Club (DPC) has commenced its annual ‘Ramadan Majlis’ programme held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The Programme features a series of social, cultural and media-related seminars and sessions organised throughout the Holy Month. Prominent media personalities and thought leaders from the UAE and abroad are participating in the Programme. Entertainment activities and Suhoor gatherings for participants will be held during the Majlis.

Maitha Buhumaid, Director of the Dubai Press Club, said: “The annual Ramadan Majlis Programme seeks to highlight Emirati values and traditions by providing a platform to exchange views on topics that are of interest to the community. Over the years, the Majlis has contributed to highlighting key challenges and issues and fostering a dialogue between members of the community. This year’s Majlis is discussing new themes and trends in the media.”

The Ramadan Majlis is organised annually by the Dubai Press Club to examine local and international issues that are of interest to the Arab world. Organised as part of DPC’s calendar of activities for Ramadan, the Majlis brings together prominent thought leaders, media personalities and intellectuals to exchange views on topics related to politics, media, society, culture and the economy.
